Baftas 2012

During my work placement at bridal wear company Amanda Wyatt, I gained experience in all areas of the company; stock check, presenting the showroom, handling the garments in additon to designing, the latter of which resulted in the realisation of my design for their new collection. This garment was later chosen by Cornation Street actress Paula Lane to be worn at the 2012 Baftas and was voted top ten best dressed. The dress was then altered for their bridal wear range.

This experience enabled me to gain an insight into the fashion industry in a friendly and enjoybale environment and encouraged me to further pursue fashion design as a career.
